Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: “There are two phrases that are dear to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue, and heavy on the scale: Glory and Praise be to Allah, Glory be to Allah, the Great.”

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) reported in this Hadīth that our Lord, the Most Merciful, Blessed and Exalted, loves these two phrases, which contain few words, yet are heavy on the scale of man's good deeds. These phrases are: "Glory and Praise be to Allah, Glory be to Allah, the Great". They have such a status because they include glorification of Allah, the Almighty, and His Exaltation above all defects and all that does not befit His Majesty, Blessed and Exalted. They also affirm such exaltation that is implied in describing Allah as the Great.
