التعريف :


That the questioner objects to the one providing evidence by citing a similar or stronger evidence, or giving a cause other than the one cited by the questioner. This is one of the objections made to analogy and other types of evidence.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :


To prove the opposite of what the opponent has established by proof.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Mu‘āradah": contradiction, opposition. Derived from "‘ard", which means appearance and prominence. Other meanings: objection, resistance, avoidance, denial, rejection.
