accidental elongation (الْمَدُّ العَارِض)

التعريف :

That a consonant followed by no short vowel accidentally occurs after a long vowel due to a stop for taking breath, or due to assimilation with the next sound. This elongation is of two types: accidental for a pause, and accidental for assimilation.
