التعريف :

The false dawn. The time when the whiteness of a vertical light is seen in the sky in the direction of the east towards the end of the night. It is followed by a temporary darkness before the true dawn appears around twenty minutes later. It is given this name, al-muḥlif, which means ‘swearer’, because the situation is such as someone swearing that dawn has appeared and another swearing that it has not.
