التعريف :
Liquid which is thought to allow the spread of impurity, and cannot be purified.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Any substance in a fluid state.
الشرح المختصر :
"Mā’i‘" (fluid) is a liquid substance that necessarily flows through a passageway, the flow of which is often impossible to stop. It is also defined as: a substance whose particles move closer to one another when any amount of the "mā’i‘" is removed; its molecules move closer together without a separation of the mass, like honey, oil, and the like.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Mā’i‘": things that are liquid and molten, like ice when it melts. Derived from "may‘", which means moving and running.
