the ꜤAlawis (الْعَلَوِيُّون)

العقيدة

التعريف :

An esoteric sect called Nuṣayriyyah, the followers of Abu ShuꜤayb Muhammad ibn Nuṣayr al-Baṣrī al-Numayrī, who claimed Godhead and permitted what is forbidden. They believe in reincarnation and deny resurrection and accountability. The French called them ꜤAlawīs during their occupation of Syria.
