An Ismaili ꜤAbīdī Nazārī Mashriqī sect founded by al-Ḥasan ibn al-Ṣabāḥ. It split away from the ꜤAbidīs to advocate that the Imamat belonged to Nazār ibn al-Mustanṣir Billāh and his descendants. It was distinguished by its assassinations for political and fanatically religious objectives.
