A book that includes the teachings and traditions of Judaism. It consists of the text of the Mishna and the Gemara. There are two versions: the Babylonian Talmud which includes the interpretation by the rabbis of Babylon, and the Palestinian Talmud with interpretations by the Palestinian rabbis.
