المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Something that is free of restrictions and its owner can dispose of it freely.

الشرح المختصر :


"Tilq" (restriction-free ownership) is something that is free of restrictions and whose owner can act freely concerning it. That is different from "waqf", which cannot be disposed of through selling or gifting. An owned slave is called "tilq", because it is lawful to act freely concerning him through sale, gifting, mortgaging, etc.

"Tilq": something lawful that is free of restrictions; something that is released; or a prisoner without shackles or chains.
