المعنى الاصطلاحي :


The curved bones that form the rib cage and side bones.

الشرح المختصر :


The human body contains 24 "duloo‘" (sing. dil‘: rib); 12 of them form the rib cage, with their ends meeting in the chest, and 12 are below them in the sides.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Dil‘": the curved bones in the chest and sides of the body. Original meaning of "dal‘": curvature and slanting.
