"Salāt al-Eidayn" (Eid Prayer) is an Islamic ritual that is performed on the first day of Eid al-Fitr (1st of Shawwal) and Eid al-Adha (10th of Dhul-Hijjah). It consists of two Rak‘ahs, and its time starts when the sun has reached the height of one or two spears -when it becomes permissible to pray Nāfilah- and ends before the sun crosses its zenith; i.e. a short while before the time of Zuhr prayer.
