End of turban/Lock of hair (ذُؤابَةٌ)

المعنى الاصطلاحي :
The back end of the turban that falls along the nape.
الشرح المختصر :
"Dhu’ābah" (end of turban/lock of hair): The Muslim jurists held different opinions regarding the length of the "dhu’ābah". Some estimated its length a handspan, while others estimated its length down to the middle of the back, or down to the buttocks. Some scholars said that four fingers represent the smallest length for a "dhu’ābah", while the cubit represents its maximum length and the handspan lies in between.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Dhu’ābah": the hair at the rear of the head. Other meanings: the end of a turban, the forelock (hair at the front of the head).
