- the route or the chain of the narrators leading to the text of the Qur'an or the hadith.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Helping another person, such as a sick person for instance, by enabling him to lean on something for support.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Isnād": to take something to recline on. Original meaning: joining something with something else, elevated place. Opposite: "inqitā‘" (separation). Other meanings: to support, to strengthen.
